Heritage Toronto, a charitable agency of the city, known for it's many interesting history-focused walking tours around the city, has organized bike tours for the Toronto Islands and the forts of Toronto this year.

The Toronto Island tour will take place on August 28 from 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m (CANCELLED).

Participants will enjoy a relaxing ride while learning all about the history of the city's biggest park. The Islands are car free.

The forts of Toronto tour will be happening on September 24, beginning at Lambton House (4066 Old Dundas St.) and ending at Historic Fort York (250 Fort York Blvd.). The tour is between the hours of 11:00 a.m. and 12:30 p.m., and follows the Martin Goodman trail to such sites as Magasin Royale and Fort Rouille.

Both events are $25.
