TCAT launches Complete Streets book


Join the Toronto Coalition for Active Transportation on Monday, May 5, as they launch a new book: Complete Street Transformations in the Greater Golden Horseshoe Region. The book offers insights into nine complete street projects in the region.

Executive director Nancy Smith Lee will open the launch. Researchers Neil Loewen and Brandon Quigley will provide a short presentation, to be followed by a discussion panel including:

  • Dr. Raktim Mitra, Assistant Professor, School of Urban and Regional Planning, Ryerson University
  • Jacquelyn Hayward Gulati, Manager, Cycling Infrastructure and Programs, City of Toronto
  • Lizuarte Simas, Manager, Rapid Transit Liaison, York Region

The event is free, but requires registration via eventbrite. You can also buy the book for $10 at the event, or $20 online.
