Cycle Toronto calls for volunteers in Ward 14
Cycle TO dreams of making Parkdale safer for people who walk and cycle! In order to make this happen, they need to reach out to the different stakeholders, and present a solid case. Solid cases often rest on sound research, and this is why they need your help:
Cycle Toronto Ward 14, as well as other policy and research minded groups around the city are looking for volunteers to help with a transportation study on Queen Street between Dufferin and Roncesvalles. This is an opportunity to learn more about the role of different transportation options in and around the neighbourhood. Cycle TO will be providing volunteers with training in data collection for a transportation survey, qualitative research methods, and the opportunity to get involved with some amazingly dedicated people that want to make Queen Street even more dynamic.
Volunteers are being asked to commit to 90 minute training session on Wednesday Sept. 16th or Thursday Sept. 17th and at least two data collection shifts between Tuesday September 22nd and Saturday October 3rd.
To volunteer, or for more information, please contact us at email@example.com
