Come out to BIKESTOCK 2014: Mark your calendars for Sept. 14

BIKESTOCK is a big idea. BIKESTOCK is a big party. BIKESTOCK is a first step to solving a big problem.

Come out on September 14, 2014 to BIKESTOCK to join the biggest ride for cycling safety in Toronto’s history. Anyone who owns a bike is welcome to meet at City Hall (Nathan Phillips Square) on September 14 at 2 p.m. to participate.

Unfortunately, the number of safe streets in Toronto is not proportional to the number of cyclists.

This is where BIKESTOCK comes in.

There will be a free concert with celebrated musicians Evalyn Parry, Rambunctious, and Countermeasure, along with a huge crowd of fellow cyclists and a chance to dream about a Toronto that takes its cyclists’ safety seriously. It’s going to be the cycling event of the year and the candidates in the 2014 Toronto city election will have to take notice.

Look here for more information and click on Cycling Routes to plan your ride in your neighbourhood.
