dandyhorse launch party for issue 11 a success!
Photos by Yvonne Bambrick
Thank you to everyone who contributed to this, our eleventh issue of dandyhorse magazine!
Here’s a great set of photos by contributor Yvonne Bambrick! Thanks Yvonne! (Here’s the naked link, just in case you quickly want to share with your friends: https://www.flickr.com/photos/yvonnebambrick/sets/72157645397476006).
Here’s one of my fave photos from the party, below, with (L-R) activist Angela Bischoff, Evalyn Parry of SPIN fame (read all about her and see the amazing photo by Mike Ford in our current issue!), Reba Plummer (of Push bags and Urbane Cyclist), yours truly (dandy publisher Tammy Thorne) and Yvonne Bambrick.
dandyhorse is available for free, to customers at all of our local sponsor shops: The Big Carrot, Giant Toronto, Cyclemotive, Sweet Pete’s (all locations), Bikes on Wheels (all locations), Urbane Cyclist all carry free copies of dandyhorse for customers all summer long — just ask at the counter if you don’t see it!
By the end of the week, dandyhorse will be available for purchase at select independent book stores – including all locations of Book City (plus Swipe, Type, She Said Boom on Roncey and now also Suspect in the Annex.) We will announce availability at book stores and cafes in the newsletter and here on the dandyBLOG as stores are stocked.
dandyhorse is also available at the Toronto Public Library and at Word on the Street.
Big bike love to dandy designer Laura Mensinga, managing editor Claire McFarlane, and senior editor Scott Anderson, on this fab issue. Thank you again to all of our contributors and supporters.
Happy Canada Day!
