The fourth annual Bike with Mike event is here to kick-off Toronto’s Bike Month!
Join Ward 19 Councillor Mike Layton at Christie Pits this afternoon until 5 p.m. for free simple bike repairs, children’s entertainment, BBQ and refreshments, the Friend’s of Christie Pits Park Arts Festival, the native plant and wildflower sale, cycling demonstrations, workshops and much more.
Recycled bike parts turned into works of art for your home and garden.
Mike’s ward, 19 Trinity-Spadina, currently has the largest number of locals involved in Cycle Toronto’s ward advocacy program with 121 cyclists.
Today’s event is the perfect segue into Monday, which will mark the first day of Bike Month with Bike to Work and Bike to School Day.
