The 2014 bicycle season is here and the Community Bicycle Network (CBN) is pulling out all the stops—gears, brakes and spokes—to celebrate. Join them on May 1, 2014 for their open house at their current, but soon-to-be old, home at 761 Queen St. West to mingle with other cycling enthusiasts, support them in the search for a new home and most excitingly, get a free tune up!
The 2014 open house marks the 21st anniversary of CBN, which has promoted cycling in Toronto as an economical and practical means of transportation since 1993.
Come to the open house to show your support for the CBN as they search for a new place to call home. With their current home at the old church at Queen Street West and Euclid Avenue sold to a developer their future remains uncertain.
For over two decades the CBN has offered their services to Toronto cyclists by offering the tools, skills, repairs, workshops, a DIY space and discounted parts any cyclist, avid or otherwise, would need. And now they need your help.
So get geared up and join the CBN and dandyhorse this Thursday and look out for the coming historical bike tours and the 3rd annual Toronto Vintage Bicycle Show – they promise it’ll be spoketacular!
