Books and Bikes: dandyhorse magazine available in the Toronto Public Library
The love of both reading and riding has been a common theme for dandyhorse throughout each of our 10 issues. We are big fans of the Toronto Public Library, and were thrilled when they asked us to put dandyhorse magazine in the stacks at certain TPL locations.
Selected items from the latest dandyhorse will be on display starting Saturday, July 13 on the main floor of the Toronto Reference Library to celebrate our partnership with the Toronto Public Library and the launch of our Summer Safety Issue.
The library display features some of the amazing work of local artists Trio Magnus that appeared in this issue, including the fabulous crawling-with-creatures cover. Mark Charlebois graciously let us include his bike-lock-bike that appeared in this issue’s Lock ‘n’ Roll fashion spread. The staff at the Toronto Reference Library set up the display to include some choice bikey reads from the stacks, and a Bern helmet rests in the middle of the tribute to the safety issue.

The safety vests were a big hit with the cyclists who passed by the reference library.
