U-lock cozy patterns

This is a knitted U-lock cozy by Tennyson Miller, a crafty bike-lover. She plans to knit a cozy for her frame next.

Tired of boring-looking gear? Keep your bike stylishly secure by making your own U-Lock cozy! This free crochet pattern from the Knit Café (1050 Queen St. West, Toronto) is quick and simple, and it’s a cool way to put some leftovers from your craft heap to colourful use. More of a knitter? Never fear: there’s a pattern to spice up your lock, too.

We've got a whole winter issue of dandy launching this weekend that focusses on good-looking gear for this time of year.

Canadian Janet Morton was the first artist to knit a sweater for her bike and she's also the subject of our feature artist profile in our first ever winter web issue!

Stay tuned to dandyhorsemagazine.com/winter2012 for more! Psst! You can print off your high-res dandy winter riding own poster here. Poster art by Jody Hocs.
