U-lock cozy patterns

This is a knitted U-lock cozy by Tennyson Miller, a crafty bike lover. She plans to knit a cozy for her frame next.

Tired of boring-looking gear? Keep your bike stylishly secure by making your own U-Lock cozy! This free crochet pattern from the Knit Café (1050 Queen St. West, Toronto) is quick and simple, and it’s a cool way to put some leftovers from your craft heap to colourful use. More of a knitter? Never fear: there’s a pattern to spice up your lock, too.

We've got a whole winter issue of dandy launching this weekend that focusses on good looking gear for this time of year.

Canadian Janet Morton was the first artist to knit a sweater for her bike and she's also the subject of our feature artist profile in our first ever winter web issue! Check out the amazingly cozy Sweaterbike here.

Stay tuned to dandyhorsemagazine.com/winter2012 for more! Psst! You can print off your high-res dandy winter riding own poster here. Poster art by Jody Hocs.
